Completed in the six months b/w the Winter and Summer Solstices, while I was in the midst of a BIIIIG energetic shift n practice upgrade. I had moved from London to Gloucestershire in October, taking up a new studio in Stroud in December. 

Licking my wounds a bit. A lot. Full of tangled hopes and doubts. Emotions and ideas. These canvases provided space to unravel them. Move thru them. Initially tentatively. Then with boldness! Meanwhile the days got longer n the sun higher n the light brighter n the temp hotter... Now here we are. Different to what I'd envisioned but a lot has changed (mostly in good ways). So...
